On March 23rd we played at the historic Festival Theatre in Cambridge, sharing the programme with with our very favourite classical guitarist, Daniela Rossi. The theatre space is now part of the Cambridge Buddhist Centre, and many thanks to Dharmanatha, who is a member of both the Buddhist Group and the Moonlight Mandolins, for organising and facilitating.
The orchestra played most of the first half, and then before the interval had the great pleasure of accompanying Daniela in the Vivaldi Guitar Concerto. In the 2nd half Daniela gave a solo recital (playing superbly as always). We were lucky enough to have the whole evening video’d (thanks to Mike Addlesee for a great job) so without further ado here are some clips:
Waltz of Lost Dreams
Ballad of Ouri
How Deep is your Love
Serenata Gaia
Silver Swan Rag
La Partida
Largo from Vivaldi Guitar Concerto (with Daniela)
